I would run a quilting line right down the ditch and quilt all the other borders in a pretend piano key pattern also. Cute top!

Zozee, no it is not my stream. I am vacationing in a beautiful little campground outside Banner Elk NC. I spent the day sewing on a picnic table next to that gorgeous stream. It was a perfect day!

Thanks to everyone who gave their opinion. I am going to leave it as is!

I would do something because as it is the two greens looked patched together and the other borders do not.

It looks fine but you might turn that border upside down of the way it is. That way the yellower portion would be nearer the yellow border and the darker would be nearer the blue and it would look more like the progression of color was intentional.

I think I would take the upper piece off and flip it around. It's got more yellow at the top, which looks closer to your bottom piece.

Stuff like this always bothers me too!

I think it's fine the way it is. Hubby is right, the baby won't notice.

As you just said Penster, I would leave it as it is. So many cute things to look at in this quilt and pretty colors. You will be the only one to notice, especially after it is quilted.

I think it is wonderful! I sometimes do something like this and then later say,"Hey, that is nice. What was I so critical about?" If it really bothers you, applique a stray butterfly or bird over the area and it will hardly even be noticeable.

Can I just say where ever you are standing showing the quilt is beautiful.
