    All the sashing and borders tie in well together and the animals are cute, I'm sure the baby will love it!

    Another thing to try is fabric paints. Use a green that goes with that and put random lines, squiggles, loops or whatever here and there. Cross over that seam line a few times and it will probably be less noticeable.
    Also, be sure to press the seam open there. That will eliminate the "bump" where the seam is.

    I think it is fine. Quilting will make a huge difference. The messages in the squares are so sweet and perfect!

    It's certainly NOT awful! It's an adorable quilt with pictures the baby will love as he grows up. I'd leave it alone, too.
