A couple of days ago I looked at all my UFO's and found way too many! 3 of them are just bindings- how lazy can I get???
Maybe I'll do a binding marathon- it would free up that space that's holding all of them.

I see several projects as a necessity ... sometimes I want to sew, and dependent on my mood, what I will work on. As you mentioned, there are times you know those Y-seams are not for you, and yet you are ready to sew, something! Go for it!!!!
I look at it this way ...

I am going to "claim" 5 that I am "activily" working on! There a a couple more though that I have started and maybe only made a block or two. I have found that actually that is the best way to do it---then when I find it, I don't have to wonder what in the world I was thinking about
I wish I could do like our friend and only do one at a time though---but my brain doesn't work that way. I bore easily---and there is so much I want to do! Wish I didn't have to work and had someone to do my housecleaning and cooking---I would be set!

3 quilting projects! Almost have my "big" (for me) quilt done. I have the borders on, just need mitering at the corners. I can then send it to be quilted! Yay!
Then, finish snipping the latest rag quilt. This was my fastest one yet! I'm glad it's on the small side and that rag quilts turn out so cute because I think they are kind of boring (to sew)!
Then, borders on a Christmas quilt for someone next year. I'm going to try to handquilt that one! Eek! I'm excited for this first, though.
In the midst of these I have a few hats I'd like to knit, but I'm knocking out the first two projects before I let myself touch yarn!

I am currently working on 5 - they are in various stages.
I have 37+ UFOs in Rubbermaids (I stopped counting at 37)
I have about 15 what I call Collection Bundles - fabrics I've put together that await my finding a pattern that suits them.
And I am 75 - so I regard the whole situation as hopeless.

I have 2 UFO list, one is a must do list, they all have due dates, Christmas, birthday, showers, ect. Then there is the I started it, got bored or lazy, or put it away cause Im cleaning or company comming and forgot it list, many on the second list migrate to my first list as life happens. LOL
at present I have 5 on my first list and 3 (that I know of) on the second one. Then there is the list of projects that I have ready to start, Have pattern fabric thread ect.(6) or maybe only patern and part of the fabric (11) If you have not cut any fabric does that count as a UFO? Maybe not because you could always use that fabric in another project.

To everyone - Thanks for your responses.....I am not alone in this madness.....lolol....I actually really enjoy sewing on different projects, working on one for a little while, then switching to another..However, with that said, I really do not need to start anymore projects.....None..Zilch...Nada...No More...I will resist all temptation.......Well, maybe, just one more...:)
