I keep an idea file. This allows my mind to rest and if I get in a creativity slump, I just flip through my idea file.

I have learned like Tartan to keep an idea notebook. I use the little Mead notebooks with lines on one side and grid on the other. I use it for Guild notes, Bee notes and ideas. I also keep a running list of to do projects.

Way more than I can get done. I even dream of quilting when I am asleep! Actually I get some really good ideas in dreamland.

I try to sketch out my ideas (or put them in EQ7) because otherwise the new ideas will push out the old ones. I have a spiral, gridded notebook in my sewing room and a smaller gridded notebook by my chair in the family room. I keep some colored pencils in each place since I need to get a perspective that only color can give,

Well....if I started on my ideas right now, I'd never finish! Seriously, I have about 10 "must do immediately" with fabric ready to go, spent the last hour sketching, and have two projects almost done. So much to do....need more time!!

I have bookmarks a foot long and am always seeing something new I like and something new that I have to try. Guess if I want to catch up I will have to close my eyes! lol
