I have 3 sewing machines and 2 sergers. The sewing machines are threaded for: Juki: piecing/free motion quilting, Sapphire: Decorative stitching, Old Singer, general sewing. 2 Sergers, one threaded in dark colors, the other in light colored thread. I use all of them. Good thing my chair has wheels! I jump from one to the other, works out well.

I have a New Companion tradle machine in a cabinet. It has
a shuttle instead of a bobbin. I know nothing about it but just had to buy it. We lose electricity often where we live and I thought I would be able to sew anyway if I had a treadle. Does anyone have any info on this machine and how that darn shuttle works? I really need to get in and give it a deep cleaning since I have done nothing to it since I bought it. I use it as a piece of furniture in my front room. Thanke for any help. MNM

I have 3 - 2 Pffaf's set up all the time a Quilt Expression and Grand Quilter. The third is Janome Jem for workshops or sewing days as my beloved PFFfs are just too heavy to take out of their tables, downstairs and into the car. Thankfully the seam allowances all match up. Do others have a dedicated "car" machine? for taking to workshops etc?
