Default how many ufo's and great ideas do you have?

okay ladies , i made a huge mistake
I decided that I needed to make a list of all of my current projects, everything from fabric purchased with a specific pattern in mind to just needs the binding finished, and I enlisted my husband's help.

That was my big mistake. After we made the list, with 28 projects on it. He turns to me and says, so what do you think the average cost of each of those is? This is from a man that talks about how hobbies are important and we will make room for them in the budget, so i think i blew his mind.

How many projects do you ladies have? Are there some that will probably never get finished, because the new quilt smell has worn off?

I think my goal for the rest of this year and next year is to get them finished. I think the only new projects I am going to allow myself, are the Doll Quilt swaps. We shall see how this goes

I am afraid to count. BUT, if I would stay off the QB, I would probably get more done.

I would not even begin this task, it would be so discouraging! But I'm glad your DH supports your fun.

I finished a baby quilt yesterday and was glancing around looking for a project, I discovered that I only have two unfinished projects. So, I pulled out the blocks for the one and decided to do a quilt as you go. I cut out the batting blocks and today will decide on the quilt block backing fabric, sashing and border fabrics and get those all prepared. What do you want to bet though the majority of my unfinished projects are tucked away in a tote that did not get unpacked after the move! LOL. Good luck on finishing all of your quilting projects!

I have way too many "planned quilts" to even beginning counting. But I do know I would have to live to be 150 before I could complete them all. Projects I've started cutting, maybe 6.

I have two actual "ufo's", something I am actively working on, and a gazillion great ideas in my head. Which I'm sure will stay there!!!

My plan for this year was to finish my UFO's and WIP. Well I've conquered a few, but have finished more new projects than ever. However I've also created more UFO's and WIP. Changing who you are and they way you do things is hard to achieve. As for counting them, I'd rather not know how crazy I am!

I have a lot of ideas for quilts in my head, probably to many to ever complete. No UFO in my sewing room and my stash is beggining to get slim. I think I had better get busy and go shopping lol
