How many of you find that quilting is a therapeutic outlet?

How about you?

I started to quilt the day I found out that my father was very ill and wouldn't live long...quilting gave me a warm loving feeling a place to hide. I felt as if the fabric cradled me from the hurt of loosing my most precious father! It still calms my nerves and makes me feel very good about myself.
