How many of you have started or completed a dear jane quilt?

I was wondering how many have started or completed a dear jane quilt? It seems to be such a large undertaking to finish one, I wondered how long it would take to do it and what kept you going to finish such a project. How many bought the book and templates and some material and stopped there or did you continue on doing the blocks? It is such a pretty quilt but would you get sick of it before you finished?

I bought the book and the templates and have done a few of the blocks - I fear doing it justice . Many here on the board have done it and done beautiful jobs on them - a group just finished the project

I have one on the go..just made a block last night...good to do when you don't want to work on your "current" project and just want to put together a little block...I have about 15 done...long way to go...

I am just going to start mine this week actually....I am going to do a monthly class on it at my LQS...so I need to get some blocks done before the beginning of the year..so that I can explain them to everyone else....we are going to have sew-in's ...raffles...drawings..prizes and what not to keep up our stamina!
