I hope you recover from the flu real soon! Gosh, I hate that stuff! I haven't had it in years and I will get a flu shot soon. Have to wait until I get over the sore throat/head cold my son and I have both had! It's been three + weeks!

With asthma, I can't afford to get the flu! I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy (if I had one, which i don't).

Get well soon. Your quilt is fabulous!

Love your quilt, and I'm like you, I try to stay busy until I just can't go any more. Don't have the stamina I am supposed to, but I'm trying to build it up. Getting healthy and quilting is my mental health priority

That's a pretty quilt for not feeling good. I'm afraid what mine would look like if I tried it when I wasn't feeling well. Hope you feel great soon.

I am sure you can enlarge the pattern to any size you want. Basically, this pattern is a string quilt, start with the center "kite" shaped piece ( the light solid color in crzypatcher's post), then add two narrow strings to either side. End with a triangle in the corners. (Total pieces in block = 7). The block is square. Does this make sense? It is not a difficult block. Only trick to it is to keep the center pieces either the same fabric or the same color as they make a secondary pattern.

Hope this helps.

Anita

Anita, you're right about the pattern but mine is 6"squares. My strips are cut 1 1/4" and set in about two inches from the corner.
