I'm reading this series and love them. I so want to be part of their group - to have the close friendships with other quilters. To get together and share quilting and brownies. <grin>

Yes, it would be great to be a part of such a closeknit circle of friends and quilters. I joined a sewing group on Wednesdays and slowly but surely it is feeling like this.

Thanks,
Sherryl

I agree. I think that would be so much fun. I don't have any close friends or family that quilt. When I start talking, most of their eyes glaze over. They love the quilts, just don't know anything about the joy in the process. :D :D

i've not read the books, but i am very thankful to belong to a quilting group that is close. Two of the women have a 2nd home in the Fort Wayne area and we go to "quilt camp" in the fall. Sadly, I can't go because it is right after school starts and i can't justify taking time off so early in the school year.
