How to sandwich a GFG quilt?
Decided to do some hand piecing and picked a Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt. I'm going merrily along and sewing all the hexs together. Then I thought, "How in the world does one sandwich this?" I'm going to have 2 sides straight but I want to have the 2 ends in hexagon shapes. Do you put right sides of backing and top together and then on top of the batting, sew around the edges and "birth it" by turning inside out? I don't really want to have to bind it. How does one do this? Thanks in advance for any and all help.

You can use a facing on the hexagonal edges (or on the whole thing).
