Default how should I quilt this one???

I get stumped when it comes to boy quilts. All I ever can think of is stipples. It's not girly. Everything I do is girly. I know you guys will be able to come up with something for me.

Loops and stars would be perfect with that fabric!

I almost always do a large stipple, I never thought about it being girly. I have given all the men I know quilts that have been FMQd with the large stipples. I doubt they would think about it, not heard a word about it. First time I have ever heard that.

Leah Day has a design that kind of looks like streaks of lightning. That might look good or stars as someone mentioned. If you go to Leah's 365 free designs and look through them there might be one thing that catches your eye.

I'll go check those out. Thanks!!! I really have issues when it comes to quilting that is boyish...if you know what I mean. You can't put feathers, flowers, leaves...that kind of quilting on a quilt like this. It just doesn't go. I've done flames before, but it wouldn't go on it either. I'll see what she has and see if it sparks an idea. Thanks so much!!!

You could always do stitch in the ditch and/or straight line stitching...like a grid or echo quilting.

Why don't you try making circles on each block maybe interlocking them?.

Triangles and diamonds would look good. Ie diagonal line through each block.
