    I would meander the entire quilt. To many corners to do straight for me.

    I am loving this pattern and your choice of fabrics. It looks like some 1930's prints. Where do you shop for your vintage fabric? I do not have a clue how to quilt it, sorry, I am still admiring the quilt. Could you show a larger picture of your quilt. Thanks.

    no idea how to quilt but will wait to see how you end up doing it. daughter in-law loves butterflys and I think I
    wii use your pattern idea.

    Shadow stitching 1/4 inch into the butterflies, both wings and bodies. Don't know about the rest or if you would even need more except for the border.

    On the border I would do a leaf design because butterflies love gardens.

    That looks very nice, Karen! Alternatively, some curved lines would also look nice on the wings. It does help to draw it out on paper or on acrylic.
