    My first htought was one stitich at a time (HA!HA!) But then seriously, I thought I'd stitch around the butterflies' bodies and wings. Just my two cents! :)

    if you have decorative stitches on your machine try one of them-I am especially fond of the curvy one on mine and you only have to go in a straight line-the machine does the rest-you could use it to go around the inside of the butterfly wings to give them a more dimensional effect

    I like KarenK's idea of straight lines on the wings to emphasize them. good luck . It's pretty :thumbup:

    i would definitely stitch around the butterfly bodies and outline the big block. then see if it needs anything else.
