My daughter wants me to make her a quilt using this fabric. I will probably combine it with (mostly) reds and blacks and maybe some black-and-white music notes fabric. (Dark colors are a practical choice since various cats will be sleeping on her bed and all the cats are dark-colored.)

I didn't expect her to choose this fabric as the feature so I'm coming up short on ideas.

    Looking for suggestions, please!

I think it is stunning. I would do Warm Wishes with black and green for the outside colors, red in the center. Black outside border.

This morning someone posted a 10 minute block with a pink rose in the center. I wondered what a full quilt would look like with the right combinations of fabrics - just a thought.

How about one of those Judy Sisneros squares or rectangles, with that as the feature fabric? I saw that fabric recently and wanted to try it but have to focus elsewhere - please let us see what you make!
    thanks
    Sue :-) :-) :-)

I like both the BQ2 and the Warm Wishes but I think I am leaning towards the BQ2. Gorgeous fabric.

that is really pretty fabric, no idea what to make with it tho, Pamesue's idea of BQ2 is good idea, nice big block to show off the fabric.

Benartex Floral Trails is my choice for a similar large floral print. The company also has a new one not yet released with large stripes that looks.good.http://www.benartex.com/uploads/Imag...oraltrails.pdf

I like Sassylass's design. Did you make that up out of your head or was it a pattern?

There is a real easy 4 patch kaleidoscope pattern called Short Stack available thru Piecing Harmony out of New Hampshire. They can be reached at [email protected] or by phone at (603)735-4100. I have made several quilts from this pattern and never tire of it. Use the roses in the 4 patch and your other fabrics as setting triangles - I think you'll like it!

OMG! Yes! Where did you get that? I've been looking all over the place for that material!
