I am almost always in a sweat suit and thick socks at this time of year and that is what I have on right now. In summer I usually wear a light weight knit pants and t-shirt combo. I always change when I have to go somewhere. When I get up early and start quilting immediately, I usually don't even comb my hair. Really glad I don't know anyone who Skypes!

I get up in the morning and sew in my jammies until I am expecting company or need to go out for some reason. In the evening after dinner, if no company is expected, I put on my jammies or sweats and head back to the sewing studio. Since I retired I am all about comfort! lol

Well at home I wear my loosest, sloppiest, softest sweat pants and shirts. I save my nicer matching sweat outfits for going out to sew. LOL... I have fibro, my body wants soft and loose. I pay attention!

In sweats today..my grandchildren spent the night and my grandson isn't feeling very well. I did manage a shower before the kids woke up and my sweats are clean!

It is winter here with the wind howling. My daily attire consists of a turtleneck of cotton, a flannel nightgown and a fleece duster. nothing tight around the waist since I had back surgery in the 90's. I had a fleece sweater on when I go to sleep which is in my recliner. My feet have two pairs of socks on. No bra..too confining. I sometimes wear fingerless gloves. Guess I am a sight but it works for me.

I'm glad that I am not alone in this. It has been a LONG time since I had to get dressed and go out to work, so maybe I'd feel like "dressing down" if I had had to do it every day for years. Quilting is "fun" to me and I have to get my "work" done first before I can relax and enjoy it. If I didn't have to do my barn chores everyday, I'd probably live in a jumper/skirt. Different strokes...and all that......

Sometimes I really hate self discipline. (and I live alone lol!)
