Would love to see pictures of your new toy. I am still thinking about purchasing one of these but until I get my sewing table assembled not sure if I will have the space required. How much space did you leave around the frame/machine?Originally Posted by Dedraps
I got it! I ordered it through my LQS, and it came yesterday via UPS. My LQS owner came today and set it up. I had taped off the space I thought it would need and MDH rigged up a 5 foot piece of PVC pipe on a small table to give a more visual idea. The machine and frame take up just about exactly what I anticipated. I piddled on it all evening. I’m super thrilled. Clearly there’s lots of practice in my future. . I’m very pleased with my decision.

I have been practicing and clearly need a lot more! There is a little more than a foot on the right end and about three feet or so on the left end. I got the casters so that I can move it out from the window or side to side as needed. As I said, I had put painters tape and a PVC pipe on a table to mark the space. It is plenty of room. I don’t have the handle bars on th back, but if I decided to put them, I think it would still be okay. I’m very glad I got it.
