I like white the best. Would make the colors really stand out.

I like your idea of cornerstones with the white sashing. I think that would be beautiful. The only other colour I would consider would be black.

I agree with the black, or if that's too dark, how about an indigo blue? The dark blue will separate them almost as well as the black, make the blocks stand out, and still give you a bit of color to the sashing. Either that or pick a pastel color that is not in any of your blocks. IMHO. It's a great quilt!

I like white for sashing, however Billi below has a great idea too. You could have a one inch border around each block, then the white sashing. Not sure if I'm helping or not, but your blocks are wonderful, and making 13 in one day - I'm very impressed. Great job.

I'm of the mind, the more scrappy the better, LOL. I think I would try scrappy borders on each block, with perhaps white cornerstones to pick up the white used in the blocks.
I know it would be busier, but I think the strip of fabric against the HSTs would be enough to keep it from being too busy!

I envision white with prairie points in those same colors. Beautiful colors. Beautiful example of the wonderful blocks that can be made with HST.

Oh how neat!!! I love this already and your not even done.
I ran across some fabric a while back that looks like wood, I believe it was sort of a med. color not really dark but if you could find it that would look really nice. Sort of like looking out a window that had window pains, each pain could offer you a different view of the world.

I'm not a big fan of white, but that's what's needed here------------so you don't lose your patterns. You've got the white in the HST, so extend it to the sashing-------under an 1" wide???????????

White is good! these all are beautiful! The link to Scrappy Quilt Show is great!
How do you do 13 in day? do you chain or do them in several sewn at a time then cut apart?
