What a thoughtful and sweet thing to do! My hubby gifts me with the freedom to get whatever I want whenever I want it. (Of course, he knows I am respectful of our finances.) How nice is that? He would probably make the trip into our only LQS (a good hour away across town) if he thought I really wanted him to surprise me, but he would be soooo lost - bless his heart. He's a keeper for sure.

Was he about 5' 7", "fluffy" around the middle, grey beard, brown receding hair, glasses and spoke with an English accent? If so ... woo hoo ... I'm goin to Jersey on a road trip!

Sounds like something my DH would do and has done. He took a day off on Monday to start his shopping for me he started by doing to my Bernina dealers shop (they also have material and other things) he had me make a wish list. He finished up the day by a trip to Joann's. Don't know what other stops he made in between, but can't wait to see what is under the tree! I am sooooo lucky!

Gee wish that was my husband. I'm lucky if mine remembers my birthday. Don't get anything for Christmas either so I stopped buying something for him and buy something for myself.
