You are not alone, we’ve all made mistakes on our quilts. I’m looking forward to seeing this quilt it sounds gorgeous! The winner will be happy with it. The ‘wrong’ border will add to the quilts charm if people even notice it. Next time take a picture of the quilt before you quilt it. For some reason mistakes show up clearly in a picture – not sure why.

I agree with Jo's daughter; a beautiful accident. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Many of us here on the board use the wrong side on purpose because the color value of the wrong side works better in the design than the front.

No, no, not "wrong side". Wrong order would be best description, sorry, I wasn't more clear. The borders were light green inside, apricot print next round and dark green outer border. The right had side has the light green outside instead fo the dark.

Just think of it as an original design change.

You know, your quilt will be one of a kind, and to me is great. No one else would notice

Most will probably think it is supposed to be that way. Don't fret. I hear the Amish make intentional 'mistakes' on their quilts to show no one is perfect.

Don't be so hard on yourself. I have done some really dumb things on quilts but I had to learn to live with it. If the LA'r didn't sday something it can't be that noticeable.

It's a "happy accident". It helps to take a digital photo before you sew it together, you can see mistakes better. I bet it still looks great.
