Oh I was thinking the SAME thing! I have a Simplicity Quilter's Classic that I do most of my free motion on and it doesn't have nearly this much space...but I've been reading that these do well with free motion, now maybe I can dare to make a King size quilt? LOL*

I feel the same way. I have a FW and my Mom has a 301. If I had to choose just one it would probably be the 301. You got a fantastic deal.

Enjoy!

Couldn't get any better...you know that the bobbin case is compatible with the 221 along with some foot pedals...you can download the manual...email me if you can't find it ...I have it saved and I can send it to you...
I have 2 of these same ones...two toned...and lots of the attachments...I really bought them because of the bobbin cases...and also the throat plates...they are also compatible with the 221..not the attachments though...they are a slant shank...apparently I real that this machine is one of the best for free motion quilting..I haven't tried it for that as I don't have the foot but I am tempted to get it...you are so lucky...and there is a no. on the bottom which tells you the date it was born...
