    You are gonna love it! I have had one for 50+ years and it is a workhorse! I have made bedspreads, quilted, worked on draperies, etc. You can't kill it. Just keep her oiled and lubricated. Lucky you!

    Thank you for the tips, your machine looks so much like mine, actually my mom's machine, she taught me to sew at 12, but she didn't quilt. I'm learning a lot on this site and will attempt free motion quilting in a little bit after I get the quilting foot.

    Those are great machines! I love mine, but I paid @25 at garage sale and it was like new. Happy sewing.
