i admire people who can focus on one project at a time until it's done.
i have a feeling i'd have more things finished at the end of a year if i could retrain myself to do it that way.
i'm sure i will never know.

I feel it is the ADD kicking in when having numerous projects going on. I never seem to follow a pattern, (hate to read directions) just the general "idea" of it, so sometimes I have to let it sit while I decide what to do with my blocks and will start another one, or two, or three projects. Then if there is a holiday coming up and I need a new wall hanging, and the list of distractions goes on. lol

yup -that's my method of quilting too....have about 15 works in progress (WIPs) now....sadly, haven't been able to work on any of them for the past couple of months since we're in the midst of moving. I think WIPs are much more creative than working on one project at a time! That's my story and I'm sticking to it.....

I have always had at least one UFO since I began quilting. My very first attempt 23 years ago was a Lonestar - OK you can all quit laughing now! I was brand new and didn't come from a quilting family so I had no idea what I was getting into. All those bias edges got the better of me and it is a UFO to this day - I can't seem to get rid of it as I still love the pattern and the fabrics. I can't help but think I will get to it one day - I think that is a common theme for most quilters. Welcome to the club ladies!!
