Sounds strange.... If this is the case it would eliminate a lot of animal theme based quilts because a lot of panels have animals with black eyes, that is how they are printed.

I think this is a grown up's issue that has a problem with black and white in real life. Don't visit it on everyone else.

I agree. The panda does not look like a human. There are many cats, dogs, horses, and cows that have black eyes, too.

You may be right. I assumed it was probably a new case worker looking to make some sort of statement.
