Congratulations. I love my Janome 4000, however, an update might be nice, especially machines that thread itself and cut the thread, not happening, but a girl can dream.

Congratulations on your new Elna! I am so happy for you! I can still remember my excitement over 40 years ago when I got a top of the line Elna. I couldn't believe all that machine could do! I used it for decades; but gave it to my daughter when she married and wanted a sewing machine. I hope you will enjoy your Elna as much as I did mine.

I do understand. I'm so happy that your wait is over and that you can now enjoy your dream. I'm looking forward to seeing posts of your future quilts.

How exciting for you! I got my new Babylock in Feb after sewing on a 1975 Touch N Sew for 37 + years . and although it had been a good machine all those years, I was exstatic with the auto threader and thread cutter as well as the large harp for quilting. I know you won't want to do anything but sit in front of your new baby and maybe even pet it a bit. Enjoy!!
