    One of the reasons I asked is that I have a similar one. I bought it in an estate sale. It was raw edge appliqued and is beginning to fray around the butterfly edges. I'm not sure how I can fix it, other than fray check.

    Well, I say Great job!! It is a beautiful quilt. I can see why it was worth the time and effort.

    I replaced some of the butterfly wing also used the heat and bond put it on the longarm and did some free motion
