This probably sounds like the dumbest question ever on the board but here goes.......
Besides the fact that the Featherweight is gorgeous that's all I know about it. So....... what is the draw??
I told you I'm a dumbbell :D:D

I need to borrow my husbands telephone to take a picture.
The featherweight sews a straight seam and is light enough to carry around.
For me and many others my age it's was our 1st sewing machine.
I would also like to get a 301a as the feed dogs drop and it has a stronger motor.

They are a great piecing machine and easy to maintain. It has been a favorite of quilters for many years.

Use it! You will be hooked. Mine is the only machine I use regularly. I have other machines - I use one of them with a zigzag stitch to patch jeans and make buttonholes - but I don't put them in my quilts! Enjoy. Congratulations. And welcome to the club.
