I just got mine too. I've also been coveting a featherweight for quite a while. There are a lot of FW on ebay right now, and a variety of prices too. I love mine, it looks great and runs great, and I'm sewing on it. Does anyone know it there is a product to protect the shine and finish?

    Just to test her out.

I am really excited about this machine. I thought I'd feel bad about the money, it's a lot for me, but it was worth it.

I just won one on Ebay too! I have spent ages looking for one that has the European motor. I lost one a couple of weeks ago, being pipped at the last minute. That was a really pretty black one. Mine that I won last night is a white (some say pale green) one, so not as pretty, as they don't have the nice decals on them, and it isn't as old either, but I am figuring that it will last me longer!

It's much harder to find one with our voltage on it, so I am chuffed to bits. Now I have to wait for it to arrive.......trying to wait patiently.......still trying.......

I like white and the green machines. I saw one that looked like the paint was crinkled. They are a pretty little machine.

It looked really white on ebay, and the seller said that was what it was, so I won't know until it gets here. I'll post a pic when it arrives.

You can also buy Singer feet, accesories, on E-bay. I bought a new 1/4 inch foot for my featherweight and it works fine. You can buy now or bid depending on the ite, and they are very reasonable prices.

Does anyone know how to find out what the feet I have are for? One looks like a binding foot, a 1/4" foot, but the others look like medieval weapons of torture.
