I'm glad you are almost to your goal. That is lovely fabric. I'm working on getting my stash down and not buying fabric. It's gong well.

That will be my next goal, but I'm not making it just yet. Actually, I've tried it several times, and I've never been successful. Maybe I should start small, like not buy fabric for...for... a month. Nope, it'll never work. When I'm ready, I'll go week to week. Then reward myself with a new yard every time I make it.

I hardly ever hand bind my quilts, especially the baby ones because I know they'll be washed a lot. Have you ever tried binding entirely by machine? It speeds up the process quite a bit.

I don't know where any tutorials are, but I'm sure they exist. I learned out of the book "Modern Quilt Workshop".

Here's the lap top I'm working on tonight... the photos I posted of it before didn't show true colors at all. Let me see if the ones I took today will show it more true.

Blue back... it's the water to keep the rose garden hydrated. ;-) This one shows it best--it's more yellowy than the top one.

Still not showing it buttery enough.

Baby quilt made from left over blocks from one below...

This one has been done for a long time, except, the, um binding.

Here's another...Rhyme Time. I love the echo quilting (not shown in this photo) and it has a pretty green binding now. :-)

I am both impressed and inspired. I am so close to meeting a similar goal, and this will inspire me to create and put the binding on the last quilt...THEN I can start another!!

Good for you! (and thanks for the inspiration....I don't mind sewing binding on, but I really don't seem to care for creating the binding, which, I know, takes much less time.)
