Burgandy is my vote. If its quilt as you go, how do you join the blocks? Doesn't it make it 'clumpy'??? I'm newish so 'scuse the question. They look great btw.

I agree! Either the blue polka dot or yellow. Beautiful blocks!
You may have already done this...lay out any of the fabrics that you are considering, then lay the blocks on top with spacing to see the sashing, then stand back. You should be able to tell which one you like the best that way.

I don't know what color to use as the joiner strips. I think this will be the most important choice for the success of this quilt.

My bedroom walls have a cobalt blue in a batik look.

I will appreciate suggestions!

I like the cream color for joiner strips.

I also like the darkest burgandy in the flowers like Mitches Mom suggested.
This would be my choice. I think darker would be better than lighter to bring out the colors. With the rest of the quilt being pastel, I think darker would make it pop. Just my opinion, but apparently someone agrees with me or I wouldn't be quoting her.

I'd definitely go with something strong - I too like the burgandy in the rose fabric.

The blue polka dot would be a bit darker, but set them off.Love the use of stripes in your blocks....they are very nice.

I would go with that white with blue floral that you have in the blocks.
