I made McCalls free pattern "Frosted Candy" for my gd and she loved it. It's a very easy pattern. I only hope I have done this correctly. http://www.mccallsquilting.com/patte...html?idx=12827

I've seen a beautiful butterfly fabric that has a lavender background and butterflies. Don't remember where I saw it though, but if you google butterfly fabric you will likely find all kinds of wonderful ones.

An easy way to feature pretty fabric is D9P, putting the focus fabrics in the corners of the original and using solids or blenders for the "spokes" and centers.
