In quilting there are no mistakes, just variations. So this is a variation to your original pattern. Take it as such, and keep on quilting! IMHO.

I agree - don't try to take off the fused applique, just add more to balance it.

Can we see all this fantastic quilt.
I agree. That would be easier than trying to remove it,

I'm sorry you made a boo-boo but your quilt is beautiful just the way it is now.

I would have never noticed had you not pointed it out. I like it just the way it is. Trying to remove sticky stuff from fabric might cause a worse issue. This is beautiful just the way it is. Remember we're not perfect... we're quilters... lol. Throw that gorgeous thing on the wall and revel in your abilities to create beauty.

I totally agree with this solution. Add more berries and leaves. No one will be any the wiser that way. It is beautiful. Edie

I think it looks lovely & not wrong at all. If it bothers you that much, I would add NOT try & remove parts of your design. Why risk ruining such a lovely quilt - just add more pieces to it. Let us know what you decide.

I'd let it go - it looks lovely the way it is!! A design decision, you know! And don't cry.
