I think New Home brand is now Janome.

I might add that I have never had to have it repaired, neither the machine or serger. Very nice to use. All you have to do is turn it around on it's base. Have made many, many, many quilts, clothing, clothes for porcelain dolls and now I can FMQ on it. Still loving it.
