Nancy's Notion website has a Creative Kindness thread that has free instructions for a fleece shoulder cover that is super simple, quick and turns out really cute. My mom is always cold (88 years old) and had a big blanket folded around her shoulders all the time so I made her one last winter...she's about worn it out and says the fleece is really light weight, doesn't fall off her shoulders and is nice and cozy warm.

I'm so glad I got notified of an addition to this thread I was rushed when I looked but I couldn't find this thread when I posted the picture of the one I made...I made the bread bag and rice bag for my DS for a hostess gift Thanksgiving and posted a picture on the Picture thread. I did try to give credit where credit is due... to you but couldn't remember who had suggested this very cool gift. Check the Picture thread of you want to see the breadbag/ricebag basket. Thanks for the suggestion. I love it.
