If I am traveling to a new place, I always hunt down a shop or two, but locally, I can resist the urge - most of the time ;)

Used to have a bumper sticker on my last car that said "this car brakes for fabric stores". Would love to find another that says something similar.

Of course. Gotta see what new stuff they have. I went on a quilting tour to England, Ireland & Wales. We stopped at all the quilt shops.

I don't have quilt shops on my usual routes, and the ones in my area aren't all that intriguing, the fabrics on sale here tend to be be more muted and tame than I like. So, no overwhelming temptation for me to overcome.

I do shop online however, and boy is that difficult, to visit one of my favorite shop websites and navigate away without buying anything!!!
I've joined the fabric moratorium on this board for this year however, so for now I'm simply staying away from the online shops... safer this way, lol!
