I don't have a room, just a corner with a dinning room table behind me. If I did it would be yellow. Soft and warm yellow.

Mine is an eggshell off-white, very soft.
Hard wood floor
Shelving and a design wall cover most of the walls.
I did spring for window shades that block rays

This was my old room and from when I very first got started almost four years ago. Unfortunately it doesn't show "true" as the color was so pretty and calming, inspiring really. I kept the color swatch and would like to do a future sewing room that color again. I kept the muslin/yo-yo curtains too. We're about to move by the end of the month and the room I have currently is just plain ol' white textured walls.

mine is a light yellow. After we painted, it was a little brighter than I thought I was getting but it makes the small room brighter and that's what I need.

Here you can see the color my room was. My GD lived with us for a while and that orange was her choice. I toned it down by sponge painting over it with a light beige ....now I can sew without sunglasses. The picture was taken several weeks ago before I finally got the room somewhat organized!

oops....wrong picture...you can't see how intense the orange was!! :?
