If your machine was a car...

Mine is a Mazarati! Got all the bells and whistles and flies! It's an Ellisimo.
(I was a racer in a previous life {well some say I still am} and my theme song is "I Can't Drive 55" by Sammy Hagar! Except when I have my grandbaby with me that is! Then I am a real granny!

I too drive a Mercede Benz (Brother) and have a stand-by one roughly 35 yrs old that needs a new cord. I also have use of DH's embroidery machine, but don't embroider on it. He's more into that aspect of things. That would be our Thunderbird IMO. He liked it until I got my new computerized Brother. Now he has me set up mine for him! My serger (also Brother) is a Boxster and I love it too.

my husband said not to forget what we call his 1960's White...it is fondly referred to as "the BUICK"...it is like a copper toned beige with lots of heavy duty chrome...the day I found it, I picked up and said, it not only looks like Buick, it feels like one...dang is it heavy!

:( I don't understand cars well enough to play. Tho I do like comparing FWs to MiniCoopers. I have 3FWs and think MiniCoopers are too cute. But my FWs are practical for my lifestyle and the MiniCooper is not! Maybe my Bernina 930 is an old Land Rover? But what's a Babylock Quest Plus? It's long, fast, precise, and well-equipped. What's a Brother HS 2000?

I'd have to say Honda (they just keep going, like my 15-year old Bernina that I still love), a Volkswagen (I liked that description for the Janome Jem for travel) and last but not least, in our FL condo, I have a station wagon. Old, basic, not the greatest but okay for when you need it!

I drive a variety of machines(alot more than the ones in the garage) My first nice machine Bernina 170 cost more than my first car - alot more.Haha My classic is my featherweight. The old faithful is my grandmothers 1950 Singer. The horse and buggies or my crank White and treadle. My regular ride that works day and night - thru rain, sleet and snow is my newer Bernina my Rolls.
