I guess I never understood hiding things from my hubby. The first time I encountered this was when I was teaching machine embroidery classes. I was shocked, I guess you could call it, when gals would purchase a huge quantity of items in class then wonder where they would stash it. Kind of thought that was strange! :?: But,... to each their own, no judgement here!
I knew the day I met my hubby he was my Prince Charming and 43 years later he still is!

I don't hide mine. My husband sounds like yours. When I recently asked him about going out of town to a quilt show he was more than happy to indulge me. He said "Honey, you have went to more than enough gun shows with me. I will take you anywhere."

I don't have to hide fabric purchases since we usually go together. He is the one to tell me to buy extra of a fabric I like, because he knows I'll use it up. My mom used to have to hide her purchases from my dad, and I told myself I never wanted it to be like that for me. I also try to buy fabric in moderation.

I am lucky also. I do not have to hide my quilting treasures stash or anything else from my husband. In fact, he indulges me and is interested in my quilting.

No hiding from hubby. I just came home from fabric store showed him what I bought for making a tablerunner and he asked didn't I need to get some other colors. He encouraged me to buy more fabric! Didn't need to. He is a sweetie. Lots of fabric in trunk of car with baby hats and prayer shawls to be delivered. He knows about everything in the trunk and goes with me to make deliveries. He is my knight in shining armor!!!
