check with the repair shop, or call a Bernina dealer...they might have one in their stock room! Next check ebay, they've got everything, including some of the feet you'll need. But Keep the machine, you'll love it!
Blessings,

You can't go wrong with a Bernina. My sister-in-law has the 830 and shes still sewing great.
I would have it professionally cleaned. Even if you have to by a cord the machine was free. Enjoy your new machine.

I don't think that anyone would ever regret buying and servicing a Bernina - I am on my fourth Bernina but that's all I have ever owned for more than fifty years!!!

Definitely worth it! I just bought a Bernina 930 from the nicest quilter, on this board, and drove a few hours in bad weather for it. It's a treasure! The craftsmanship is beyond anything you're see today. I have several other machines, but wanted THIS ONE. They sell for $500-1000. Try eBay, craigslist, dealers, and sewitsforsale-a yahoo forum-for the cord. Just saw a 930 case there for $150.

I bought my 930 in 81, for yrs I didn't even have it serviced and am lucky if I remember to have it serviced now knowing better. I haven't had a bit of trouble with it, have sewn things that only commercial machines are suppose to sew. I don't even remember to clean and oil as I should. This machine will never leave you walking. WORTH IT. Machines will come and go but that one will be a keeper. I have thought I would love a new machine, but can't see paying all those big bucks for a new machine when this one is so good. It does everything and all Bernina feet can be ordered if you want a special foot. Everytime I take it out somewhere someone is trying to buy it from me including the man that services it.

My honey found an old Bernina 850, the predecessor of the 950. I found a place in Killeen, TX and UPSed it. It was frozen up. Spent about $180 to clean up and it works like a dream. One part was missing and he ordered it from overseas. The tech at this place in Killeen has 35 years of working on Bernina's. I go with the other quilters,,,,Keep it!

It would be worth it if it works.

Thanks, Jenel. I saw that and will pursue that avenue if I have to but I'm keeping my fingers crossed in hopes I find the cord.
