Happy Labor Day!!
I am working on a quilt for my nephew and his wife's baby due in December. I wanted to do something that would have a little vintage feel. I saw a quilt on the internet with hour glass that I really liked - now I am trying to decide if these colors all work or if I should just lean towards one or two of the colors. I don't have the print fabric cut. I just have the hour glass blocks sitting on top of the yardage. What do you guys think? All of the colors in the hourglass blocks mixed together? Or should I just lean towards on color set? Or start all over with something different?
thanks

I lean toward the blues one. In the photo it looks like the black is too black on the brown sampling. My baby quilts tend to be simple. I might try the solids only and let the baby print be the only print. But photos are deceptive sometimes.

As far as the hour-glass blocks go - they catch my eye first and the little animal print is secondary.
Of the four options shown, I like the ones using green best - because the hour-glass blocks do not overwhelm the little animal print and it is a softer look.
I think the brown, taupe, and rust hour-glass is too "heavy/harsh" to go with that print.
