When my daughter got engaged I started a quilt, all hand pieced. 3700 pieces. Had the top pieced before her Bridal Shower. Then I started hand quilting it. That was 19 years ago! Its about 2/3 quilted. Got it out yesterday, put it in my frame, and first thing this morning started quilting. Worked on it for about 10 hours today. I am going to finish it, hopefully before their 20th anniversary in Sept. Your virtual quiling day inspired me to do this. Thank you so much.

It has been wonderful quilting with everyone today! Thanks Nancy, it didn't really start out to be all greens but these things take on a life of their own sometimes..lol. I am finishing up with the sashing on my wedding memories blocks and then calling it a night. It was certainly an inspiring day and tons of beautiful projects. What a stunningly talented group, thanks for letting me join you!

Wow! I am tired even though I haven't been quilting all day( only about 6 hours). I'm still working on my third goal with 10 of my flying geese rectangles done. Only 7 more to go. I did work some on my 4th goal also which was choosing a pattern and size of quilt for some Easter/ spring material.

Granny of 6, I think a mottled blue will be so pretty on your quilt.

OK, Theodora. I've got to ask this time. What tubes are you sewing together to make a hobo bag?

You were one busy lady. Just love your log cabin. Hubby was very busy too, holding down that comfy chair all by himself!!!!

Thanks Carole - yes, I've caught the bug! Something about seeing all those little pieces joining up into something pretty AND functional that sucks you in

It's 8:00 and I think I must be coming down with something, because I'm ready for bed. But I had a great time quilting today, and in addition to my 2 baby quilts and 1 top completed, I finished a block for a block party BOM, and laid out my next baby quilt.
Off to bed, and hopefully I can do more quilting tomorrow, because it's a holiday.

I got my sewing room cleaned up today, and messed with some fabric. Oh, and I made some pop tarts (felt food for the nursery school) Night is still young
