I tried to add photos after I had posted but it was too late to edit. So, here is my addition to today's virtual quilting. This is my 2nd pieced quilt, I am really happy with it as the rows are all in perfect alignment both horizontal and vertical. My Son & DIL asked for a Golden Book theme for baby's room. I was thrilled to find such fabric existed!! The 4 patch blocks are made from coordinating Golden Book theme prints and the large blocks are from the panel that I fussy cut. I am hoping I did ok on my 2nd quilt!!

What gorgeous projects, everyone! After spending most of the weekend organizing my stash(still not totally done), I finally settled on an idea for the back of my MQ. The pattern was by Aby Dolinger and I have had the top done since the 1st of the year. I was trying to use the fabric I had left from making the top, but was out if the lighter color. Tried searching all over to no avail. So I made one of the big stars from MSQC's tutorial but I wasn't happy with that idea. I left it on my design wall until last night when I decided to use the leftover 2.5" HSTs to make square in square blocks and long stops of the HSTs to use as other strips along the back. Since it is now 1130pm here in Germany, I have stopped for the night stuck on what other strips to use. So will have to hold off sewing until tomorrow. Hopefully I will finish the back tomorrow so that I can get it out to LAQ this week.
Hopefully these pics show up and you all can help me choose which strips to use. This is a quilt for myself.

Progress continues! Started working on the double wedding ring. First picture is the pieces cut out, second is the finished block. I am going to make four blocks and put together for my sample/practice run. This was a lot of fun!! I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out, but I am pleased. I figure by the time I get these four blocks put together I will be ready to work on the actual wedding quilt.

Hope you are all having fun!

Sorry the pics are so big! I uploaded from my iPhone. The first is my initial choice, the 2nd is a change in strips. Sorry again for the large size!

These are my blocks so far (10 more strips to go on the large blocks). The picture of the quilt on the couch is what I am making.

I'm working on a scrappy Irish Chain also. Have a bit over 1/3 of the blocks.

It's so inspiring to see everyone's work in progress!

I finished my first-ever quilt today, a lap quilt pattern I found online that inspired me to try my hand at quilting

And yes, Bentley helped pretty much the whole time.
