I think if you ask at the door, someone there will sent you in the right direction. Hope this helps a little.

In store flyers do not have coupons. Most stores do sell the magazine but we have had to put it behind the counter (unfortunately people were ripping off the back pages for the coupons without buying the magazine). The sunday paper will only have them in selected zip codes. If you sign up for emails (and jo anns does not sell its mailing list), you should get emails almost daily (for the current sale). Print off these coupons daily and use your phone for the last day(each day will have a different code). The coupons do have a code on them to prevent them from being used multiple times (if your store is permitting it it is because they are manually putting in the discount). The computer will automatically reject a code number already used. Reminder, if the coupon does not have a bar code on it, it is for online purchase only. Also, if you can find coupons from other FABRIC stores, they will honor them (not x% off total purchase, just per item coupons). Michaels does not sell fabric, so it's coupons can not be used for anything by the yard. They can be used for rolls of ribbon and most notions. May I also suggest if you are mailing your purchases home, be sure and lay large trash bags on the bottom of your box. This will prevent moisture from seeping into the box but still allow the fabric the breathe and not get that damp smell. Hope you have a remarkable visit and happy shopping!!

If mailing home use a CLEAR trash bag to put your purchases in. If the box comes open they will see the fabric and not throw it away. I would also put several papers with my address in several places in the bag. Sometimes the outer address gets destroyed and having info inside gives you a better chance of getting your package.

The magazines that you are speaking of are available for sale at the cut counter. They usually cost $4. There are a slew of 40% coupons inside. Anyone is welcome to buy the magazine - just ask the cutters!
FYI - JoAnn Stores will be sending better coupons in snail mail and e-mail for those that sign up in the store. They will be higher percentages off than the ones on the web site. You can use all coupons in the same purchase - just make sure the numbers on the bottom of the SKUs are different! Hope this helps with your purchases! (yup, employee)

I signed up for direct mail coupons (I did that on their website), I also have the app (that can have different serial numbers than the other coupons you receive, which then you can Use in combination with your other coupons.) I also go to this website and click on coupons, this will give you more coupons. . I have also received coupons on the back of some receipts from some food stores. I once used enough coupons to reduce my big order to within $30 (I also had a 30% coupon off my total purchase) I am a bargain shopper!

I hadn't seen any coupons in our Sunday paper in quite awhile. So, naturally, I bought something at reg price and said to the sales girl 'Shoot, wish I had a coupon, but our paper hasn't had any for the last few weeks'. She said they are not doing it any more. BTW - no Michael coupons either!!!
