Sounds like a good deal to me! Have you checked "completed listings" on eBay to see what similar machines have sold for there?

I paid $1,500, and didn't get anything extra, except for some bobbins! Sounds like a good deal to me!

Is this a new machine? My LQS had a back-to-school special for $1799. I don't know what accessories are standard, but I thought the price was a bit high. I'm glad that you started this thread...I've been curious about the price of this machine.

That's about what I paid for mine...without all the extra feet. It's a good machine.

Sounds like good price but can you test the machine before you buy?

definitely a good price. It's a really nice machine. I've had mine 8 years with no problems or professional maintenance.

Is there any kind of guarantee with it? If so, I'm with the others, go for it. I paid more for my machine without some of those accessories and I love it.

My 6600 was $1700 with tax. If you can get it for $1200, do it! You will enjoy this machine very much.
