The one at Walmart is not as wide. That is way the one at Knols costs a lot more. The Jamone is a big machine so I am not sure if it will fit inside the cabinet. My hubby wants me to get a nice wood one but I think if it fits that one would be fine...that way I will not feel bad if it does get bumped or nicked.

I got a package deal - machine, table, travel case on wheels, 12 pack thread, blue dot bobbin case and binding tool - $3180 out the door.

I measured mine and it is the same. I got it at Walmart on line a little more than 3 years ago, though. They have one now that appears to be the same for $99 with free shipping to store. I paid $75 but it was a special Black Friday deal.

My Elna is a big machine and it has a few inches to spare but I'm not sure how the Horizon is proportioned in comparison so I'd definitely measure it before buying any table, desk or cabinet with the thought to cut a hole to sit the Horizon down into.

The 60" measurement at Kohl's is when it's all opened up. Sauder has it on their website & gives the dimensions both open & closed. It is the same as the Walmart one. Hopefully you didn't pay what Kohl's wants for it! And, no, it's not "real" wood but it is sturdy and durable. I haven't managed to mess mine up yet.

I got one just like that at Joann when they were on sale for 189.00 and there is no hole for a sewing machine you just set your machine on top of it.So any machine will fit.

I love my Janome Horizon. I traded my 6600 in & got full price for the trade in. I love my dealer. I have a 4800 that I was talked into keeping when I got the 6600. I'm glad I kept it because it is great to take to class or other places because it is much lighter than the other 2. Most of the feet came with my machine, but I will have to check into the blue bobbin & the special needles.
