Default Need opinions on sashing

I'm making a sampler wall hanging for my sewing room (1 deep purple wall - which is *probably* where this will hang, 1 mossy green wall, and 2 light green walls). I have four blocks, and I'm trying to decide between a solid seafoam cotton and a tone-on-tone white print for the sashing. I think the seafoam goes very well with the fabrics of the blocks, especially the mottled fabric I used in all the corners, but my DH is concerned that it's too much green. So I'm wondering what you all think. (And figuring that it'll be a miracle if it's not a 50:50 vote!)

This is my first time posting pics here, so hopefully they come through!

I really like the white for the sashing as its enough of a color difference to set the blocks apart to make them stand out. Very pretty color choices.

IF you use the light green the upper right block will get lost in it. You need the white. I like that upper left block. New one to me.

I agree with your hubby. The green seems to blend all together - sort of doesn't let the blocks pop. Hope that makes sense.

Green is my favorite color, and you've used it effectively, but as a sashing I think the two greens will all "mush" together( don't laugh - it's a technical term!).

Not laughing at all - "mush" is totally a technical term!

I like the tone on tone. It highlights the other colors well. I think the seafoam blends in too much. Just my humble option.

Gayle, it's the "Prairie Queen" block from www.quilterscache.com. I wasn't too sure about it when I was making it, but it's really grown on me!

I would go for a purple but I know that's not an option. So white it is.
