I was going to say the same thing. But given that it's not an option, the white, definitely, over the green.

I agree with Martina...personally, I'd use a purple to make the green blocks pop!

I prefer the white or cream over the green also, but like madquilter, I thought ooh would like to see what the purple would do too!

i vote for the white. the yellowy color is too close to the color of the blocks

The green blends in with the blocks, so no real separation, the white is too light, again, no definition of blocks. I'm with the others, you need a dark color to really separate the blocks and make all of them shine. A purple or even a very dark green - something to show off the four blocks, instead of having them all seem to meld together. Then use the light green as an outer border, to lighten it up and make the whole thing pop against the dark purple wall.

P.S. I love the idea of a dark purple wall - you should let your inner colorist out to play more often!

Minority opinion here: I'd choose a medium lavender print with cream and light green accents.
