Yes, Irish Chain really is that easy to do & I happen to love them. Here's one I made eons ago for my DH's boss' DD (her name is Kelly & she was born on St. Pat's so it's perfect that I just happened to make this out of shamrock fabric with quilted shamrocks)! They also are awesome for using us scraps! Eleanor Burns has a good pattern, too!

I love the way Jenny makes everything look so easy. I've been looking at the Irish Chain. Will make a great wedding gift for my cousin. Thanks all for posting.

The single Irish chain has always been one of my favorite patterns. I learned from the E Burns TV show.
