After viewing the Jenny tutorial, I am now courageous enough to try the Irish chain too. I need to look at the double and triple to see if they can be as easy as the single.

My fabric came from a JoAnn's and I remember studying the different greens, for the longest time, trying to get them all to go together. I fell in love with that dark green and the center fabric; so was working around those two. Seriously, the double and triple are just as easy. It's just a matter of lining up and sewing your strips in the right order, then cutting them into blocks. It's really fun, to see it all come together.

I just received an order from Connecting Threads and was going to return a jelly roll of summer batiks. Very pretty, good quality, but I thought I really wouldn't use it. The next day I saw Jenny's Irish Chain tutorial using a jelly roll and the lightbulb went off in my head - my new jelly roll and a pattern I haven't done before. Thanks Jenny. And thanks to QB members who've posted pictures of some nice Irish Chains on this thread.

I just love Jenny...I always pick up some trick from her ... This is my Double Irish Chain - took a class I think it was a Quilt in a Day the plain centers were one piece of fabric.
