Probably about all those machines running through your head. I can relate to all those feelings........went thru the same thing; but, decided on the LE because of the free classes, clubs, software support, etc.....good luck!

I am so lucky that so far I have not done that.
I also have heard of people getting impaled by flying broken machine needles and all sorts of things but I've narrowly escaped any major blood so far (knock on wood!) A friend of mine sliced her finger with the rotary cutter right in front of me. We both sat there in astonishment until it started oozing as well. We were both speechless for once!

I did however crochet so intently for a week straight to meet a design deadline that I actually gave myself blisters on my palms :(

Been there, done that! Only, I grabbed it on the rod part, not the end. Still a big OUCH! Like you, I was working when tired. When will we learn? :!:

Almost made the same mistake last night, ala working too late. I was FMQing, stopped to change the thread color, and "everything" started binding up under the throat plate. The machine yelled at me! Something to the effect "STOP, dum dum, you've overheated the motor!" Unjammed it, let it cool, tried again only to get the message "Remove thread from under bobbin." I took that baby apart, brushed every inch of it, and still got the message. Took it apart again. Then I saw a white cat hair on TOP of the bobbin area, static clinged to the underside of the throat plate. Thank you Rudy!

I finally smartened up and went to bed. Tonight is another night, as they say.

OMG----Jinxed!!! I was changing the blade on my cutter and in the process of trying to separate the new blades in the 5 pack, guess what happened....No blood, feels like a paper cut, stings alot. I shouldn't have been reading and posting to this thread.

My sister was showing her husband how a rotary cutter works and ran it right over the back of her hand. Yikes!
